This winter we delved into the secret cellar and did some tasting, wow, we have a few cellared meads that are tasting incredible. So we wanted to make them available for limited purchase. There are very few of each, so get them before they sell out!
RUBUS 2019: Tasting Notes
A dark and rich melomel style, this vintage of Rubus got its deep colour from our juicy, ripe blackberries, grown here on the farm. It was a great year for the blackberries, so this vintage is dark and rich. Notes of dark berries, nice red wine feel tannins on the finish. This is drinking perfectly now, enjoy this year!
An ode to the red wine drinker who likes a full bodied, dry mouth feel. Pairs beautifully with tomato and beef dishes like lasagna or vegetarian herbed grain stuffed tomatoes.

MABON 2021: Tasting Notes
A Meadow Vista Team favourite, this Metheglin style vintage of our famous Mabon is mellow, soft and super smooth. Cinnamon, Cardamom, Coriander and Nutmeg are the spices used in this year. With a hint of honey this Mabon will knock your socks off!
Pair with creamy cheeses, curry dishes and pumpkin pie.

CLOUD HORSE 2017: Tasting Notes
Our Traditional style mead, made with honey, water and fermentation. This vintage won GOLD at the All Canadian Wine Championships AND the World Wine Championships; World Mead Challenge! Notes of honey, with floral and licorice finish.
Pair with seafood, cheese charcuterie boards & creamy pasta's

BLISS SPARKLING APPLE 2016: Tasting Notes
Our Sparkling Cyser style mead, bright crisp Organic Okanagan apples were added to this award winning mead. This vintage has bright apple notes, with a big mouth feel, smooth, superbly golden with hints of baked apples and a soft nutty finish.
Pair with strong cheeses, baked brie, goat cheese quiche and apple crisp.
